    Short-stroke Chapuis Armes Challenger exclusive bolt action system with engraved bolt carrier. Positive, steel-on-steel locking with three front lugs - 60-degree bolt lift. Bolt head and barrel interchangeable without tools. Removable magazine, capacity 2 rounds for Magnum or Short Magnum cartridges, 3 rounds for standard cartridges. Receiver sideplates in walnut with engraved « Challenger » logotype, matching the AAA fancy stock and forend. Hand-rubbed oil finished AAA fancy walnut stock with « hog’s back » and bavarian-style cheekpiece. Rubber recoil pad. Interchangeable trigger group. Stalking version: set trigger, fiber-optic enhanced rear sight, adjustable front sight battue version: single stage trigger, quarter rib with « Battue » fiber-optic enhanced rear sight, adjustable front sight.   Shipped in a plastic case with Chapuis Armes logotype.
