Every detail is yours to specify, from the shaping and sculpting of the detonating, a stock carved out of a collector-grade piece of ancient walnut, hand engraving you could design yourself under the guidance of our master engravers up to specific barrel lengths. Here, anything you wish, want or need is possible. Just tell us and we shall do everything to fulfil your requirement.
Handwork is privileged. There are no sophisticated machining centres in use, except for the initial action shaping. All of the essential work is done the old way, the way it should be. Master gunsmiths carve the action according to your ideas, shaping the detonating and sidebars. Specific surfaces can be applied to the barrel bands. Every single part is hand finished. The barrel to action fitting is done by “smoking” the surfaces and hand-adjusting the parts to stringent specifications.
Only the best walnut reaches the “Grand Luxe” shop. Stock and forend are carefully matched for contrast and figure. Final sanding and polishing, pore filling, applying the many coats of oil and checkering are exclusively done by hand. Even on those parts that are not critical, there is much engraving to be found. The forend lock, forend iron, trigger bow, steel grip cap and skeleton buttplate are all hand-engraved and can be personalised to reflect and affirm your own personal taste.
Where noting is impossible, there cannot be minor jobs. The most demanding customers deserve the best there is. Just look inside the action and check the finish of the internal battery parts.
