Super Orion C30 / C35 Light
The technical design of our Super Orion action is one of the lowest on the market. It features an interchangeable recoil plate, machined from treated steel and positioned between the breech face and the barrels, providing exceptional strength to our over-and-under shotgun.
Thanks to the proven robustness of the Super Orion, the Light model represents a lightweight evolution of our iconic platform. The selection of materials is a critical step in the manufacturing process of a hunting firearm. We have conducted extensive research with our metallurgical partners to offer what is now the very best in ultralight technology.
Description
The C30 model is fitted with extractors, while the C35 model features ejectors.
New rounded action design for the 700 mm and 660 mm versions.
New continuous fine English scroll engraving across the entire action, with new hunting scenes engraved on the sides and underside.
Pistol grip stock with rounded finishing in 2-star walnut for extractor models and 3-star walnut for ejector models (English stock available on request).
Hand-rubbed oil finish and hand-cut checkering. “Blitz” double-trigger mechanism with short trigger guard.
Supplied in a Chapuis Armes thermoformed ABS case with combination locks.

A lightweight version of the C30/C35 models, this shotgun reflects the importance of material selection in the manufacturing process of hunting firearms. Extensive research conducted with our metallurgical partners has enabled us to deliver the very best in ultralight technology.
The choice of Fortal 7075 superalloy is no coincidence.
Recognized across numerous industries, such as aeronautics and high-tech sectors, for its strength comparable to the finest steels, this superalloy also offers the elasticity essential to the proper mechanical functioning of a hunting firearm.
Approximately three times lighter than conventional steel, machining this new action and forend from a solid block has allowed us to save several hundred grams, resulting in a shotgun nearly half a kilo lighter.
More agile yet perfectly balanced thanks to these technical choices, the robustness that has defined the Super Orion’s reputation for over three decades remains uncompromised.
