Description

Launched in 2008, the Super Orion Series 3 marked a major milestone in the history of Chapuis Armes with the introduction of the Round Body action.

With Series 4, Chapuis opens a new chapter by thoroughly redesigning its Classic range, driven by a constant ambition to deliver more value without compromise on excellence.

This new generation fully reflects this philosophy, significantly enhancing the level of finish and features while maintaining a price positioning equivalent to the previous range.

An action design inspired by the Artisan range

The C35 and C40 Classic models feature a fully redesigned action contour, particularly around the scalloped edges of the action, directly inspired by the finishing of the 2025 Artisan range.
This evolution brings sharper, more fluid lines and a clearly enhanced aesthetic.

It marks a key step in the Series 4 upgrade: the Classic range now approaches the finishing level of the former Artisan models—particularly in the action shaping—while retaining its specific characteristics in terms of laser engraving and wood grading.

New laser engraving – enhanced precision and contrast

The engraving has also evolved significantly with the recent integration, in 2025, of a new Charmilles P600 laser machining center, developed by a Swiss manufacturer globally recognized for the precision of its technologies.

This advancement enables deeper demi-relief engraving, with stronger contrasts and a level of detail never before achieved in this price category.

Configuration and customization

Each Chapuis Super Orion C35 and C40 is available in a wide range of configurations:

• Barrel lengths: 600, 660, 700 mm and 760 mm
